I am in the US, so it costs a lot of time and money to go to Shetland Wool Week. As a small consolation, I buy a yarn pack to make the year's hat. Last year I bought one from a local yarn shop. This year the color I wanted to make was originally made with J&S yarn, but the local yarn's pack was Spindrift "equivalent" colors. When I looked at the J&S Web site, I was GREATLY surprised to find that their yarn pack was CHEAPER - even including shipping from Shetland - AND included an extra skein!

The colors in this kit ( colour way 4)are not like the sample blue hat kit that is advertised. There is white in the sample, not light yellow. The two shades of blue that I rec’d in the kit also do not look like the sample. I am quite disappointed.

Thank you for the feedback, i can assure you the colours are exactly as used in the sample hat - we make the kits exactly as the pattern specify' s. I understand if you are disappointed but I'm afraid it is not due to our colour choice as we don't make it. If you wish to return the kit you are very welcome to.
